Open House at the New Makerspace at Fredericksburg Academy
“If you are interested in electronics, robotics, Arduino programming, 3D printing, woodworking, metal working or just about any do-it-yourself discipline, FredWorks has members who can get you started,” said Max A. Lupton, a FredWorks founder and board member.
The open hack night is open to the public, and all ages are welcome. “Bring your own projects, or come see what members are working on and play with the tools and toys,” Lupton said.
FredWorks, formerly is a community of makers who explore and extend their ability to create, maintain and repair the things they use. The not for profit community based group promotes science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) and do it yourself (DIY) knowledge through community education classes, public events and meetups.
