Stars and Stripes Spectacular Weather Plan

Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular 2015 is a rain or shine event, according to Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation.

County officials are monitoring the weather.

In the event of a major storm passing through, the event would be temporarily shut down and people on-site would be directed to move indoors to designated emergency shelters — the Holbert Building, the Merchant Square Building lobby, the Historic Courthouse and R.E. Lee Elementary School, via the main entrance.

If weather cancels the fireworks, they will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 28.

Daytime events will not be rescheduled.
