Earn Fruits and Vegetables for Summer Reading
Public library summer reading programs usually award prizes for minutes, pages or books read. Those prizes, however, don’t usually include fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Doctor Yum Project and The Farmers Market.Co have teamed up to offer a new kind of prize for participants in the Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s (CRRL) summer reading program. Among the prizes readers can choose in 2015 is a coupon for $5 worth of fruits and/or vegetables at the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and King George farmers markets.
