Woodbridge man arrested for road rage in Stafford

The Stafford Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect after brandishing a handgun during a road rage incident in the county.  On April 24th at 6:23 p.m. Deputy E.E. West responded to a brandishing in the area of U.S. 1 and Perchwood Drive.

The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was identified as 24-year old Delante Davis of Woodbridge and a handgun was recovered from his vehicle. The investigation revealed Davis was in a road rage incident and stopped near Layhill Road. He exited his vehicle, retrieved the handgun from
the trunk, and pointed it toward two other drivers, before continuing northbound.

Davis was charged with brandishing, no operator’s license and illegal window tint. The magistrate released Davis on an unsecure bond,
