Starting Sun at 2 AM, the National Weather Service office in Sterling in correspondence with NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center began launching 2 extra balloons a day for the foreseeable future. This is so NHC can provide the best possible forecast with respect to the uncertainties of Tropical Storm Ian in the Caribbean.
