City Council Candidates
Jason Graham (uncontested)
Occupation: Jason works for a large management consulting firm in DC.
Bio: Jason lives in Idlewild with his wife, Stephanie, and their two young daughters. When he’s not at work or on the train he enjoys riding his bike on the VCR Trail, reading, and spending time with his family.
Community involvement: He has supported education through the Germanna Foundation, participated in cleanup projects with Friends of the Rappahannock, and volunteered his time through his neighborhood finance committee.
Jon GerlachOccupation: Attorney Bio: John is a retired archaeologist and practicing attorney in Fredericksburg. He and his wife, Mitzi, live on Charlotte Street. They have two adult daughters and eight grandchildren. Community Involvement: Jon is a member of the Fredericksburg Architectural Review Board, and volunteers for several historic-preservation organizations, including the Blue Ribbon Panel of Tourism Cares, the George Washington Foundation, and the National Park Service, and he was appointed as a Kentucky Colonel by the governor of Kentucky in recognition of his work with young people |
Dr. Andrew ReeseOccupation: Emergency Medicine Physician Bio: Dr. Reese is a Navy Veteran and local Fredericksburg Area physician since 1994. He is married with two sons, an aviation enthusiast, and avid dog lover. Community Involvement: Andy volunteers as the Operational Medical Director of Fredericksburg Fire and Rescue. He has been a been a volunteer youth coach for over a decade, volunteer coach for the University of Mary Washington Track and Field Program, an avid supporter of Music in the City, and supporter of MICAH Ministries and Empower House. He is a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church where he serves as drummer in the church band. |

Jesus DominguezOccupation: Cybersecurity Bio: Jesus is a first generation American. Born in Florida just a few months after his mother and 4 older siblings emigrated from Cuba. He is a father of 4 and retired Marine of 20 years. He and his wife, Elizabeth, a city elementary school teacher, will have 2 high school teens attending James Monroe HS starting this Fall.
